The army stage of the field training competition "Falconry" has started in the Central Military District
The district stage of the competition for tactical unmanned aerial vehicles crews "Falconry" has started within the framework of Army Games 2020 at the training ground in the Orenburg region.
The competition is attended by military personnel of the unmanned aviation units of the combined arms armies of the Central Military District (CMD). The best crews of unmanned aerial vehicles "Orlan-10" and "Zastava", "Tachyon" and "Aileron" will fight for the right to present their formation at the district stage.
Specialists of unmanned aviation will meet the standards for ground preparation of the UAVs, equipment of the launch pad, piloting in various weather conditions, taking into account various scenario requirements.
The criteria for evaluating of the crews will be the time spent on conducting aerial recon and correcting artillery fire. Participants of the competition will have to search, detect and confirm the coordinates of the objects being explored during the day and at night.
In total, more than 50 military personnel and 12 unmanned aircraft systems were involved in the army stage. The district stage of the CMD will be held in April at the Kara-Hak mountain range in the Republic of Tuva.
