In the framework of the international competition "Polar Star", the Russian team became the best in the accuracy and coherence of the group landing
The Russian Special Forces team showed the best result in the final accuracy landing exercise during the first stage of the "Polar Star" competition in the framework of the Army international games-2020, held in the Republic of Belarus.
Today, paratroopers from Russia and Belarus as part of their teams competed in jumps for accuracy landing from a height of 1200 meters. The Russian team made the first jump to a previously unknown landing site under the exotic name "Sahara" using a special purpose parachute system of domestic production "Arbalet-2".
During this exercise, the Russian team demonstrated good team coherence and a high level of professional training.
The international stage of the contest "Polar Star" is held on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in the period from August 23 to September 5 this year. The Russian Federation is represented in the competition by paratroopers of the airborne guards unit from the Moscow region.
