In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the WMD artillerymen destroyed a mock enemy with heavy fire from "Msta-S" self-propelled howitzers
At the Mulino training ground in the Nizhny Novgorod region, more than 300 artillerymen of the tank army of the Western Military District (WMD) conducted live firing from "Msta-S" self-propelled howitzers as part of a special tactical exercise.
Shooting was conducted on full-size targets that mimic the enemy's manpower and military equipment. The artillerymen completed more than 20 fire missions on single and group targets. To correct the fire and assess the situation, unmanned aerial vehicles were used, with the help of which spotters transmitted the exact coordinates of targets to the command posts of artillery divisions.
In total, about 100 units of weapons, military and special equipment of the WMD tank formation were involved in the exercise.
