The tankers of a motorized rifle formation inflicted the critical damage to a mock enemy in an exercise in the Kemerovo region
Military personnel of the 41st combined arms army of the Central Military District (CMD) in the framework of the exercise, which took place at the Yurginsky training ground in the Kemerovo region, inflicted the critical damage to the mock enemy, immediately destroying its firepower and equipment.
According to the plan of the exercise, military personnel of motorized rifle and tank units marched on BMP-2 armored personnel carriers and T-72B3M tanks. On the route, the tankers received the task of destroying a column of military equipment, manpower and firepower of the mock enemy, which were in the immediate vicinity and were preparing to attack the location of motorized rifle units. Tank crews approached to the maximum possible distance and immediately opened fire on targets imitating tanks, anti-tank grenade launcher crews, artillery guns, as well as other equipment and firepower of the mock enemy. With the help of the "Orlan-10" UAV, updated intelligence was obtained about scattered groups of opponents trying to hide in the forest. To destroy them, motorized rifle units were sent to the BMP-2.
The exercise involved more than 500 military personnel and about 50 pieces of military equipment.
41 combined arms of the Central Military District is stationed in the Novosibirsk, Kemerovo regions, Altai territory and the Republic of Tyva. It is composed of motorized infantry and artillery formations, troops of air defense, NBCP, and signals.
