Kazan Higher Tank Command School received six upgraded T-72B3M tanks in November
In November, the Kazan Higher Tank Command School received six T-72B3M tanks with improved combat characteristics. It was announced by Commander of the Central Military District Colonel General Alexander Lapin.
“In November, the training park of the Tank School received six T-72B3M tanks with improved combat characteristics. The new equipment will be used in the process of combat training of future tank officers”, - said Colonel General Alexander Lapin.
T-72B3M tanks are equipped with a new engine, a complex of built-in passive and active protection, as well as a communication system "Akveduk" and a multichannel sight "Sosna-U" with a thermal surveillance device.
Earlier it was reported that during 2020, the "Ural" tank battalion of the motorized rifle regiment of the guards tank division of the Central Military District received more than 30 T-72B3M units, thereby completely re-equipping with modern modifications of the main battle tank.
