Alexander NosatovThe Commander of the Baltic Fleet, Vice-Admiral
Nosatov Alexander was born in Sevastopol on March 27, 2963.
Graduated from the Black Sea Naval High Military School named after Pavel Nakhimov (1985), Naval Academy named after Admiral of the Soviet Union Nikolay Kuznetsov (2000), Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (2009).
Nosatov Alexander started his military career at the Pacific Fleet as a commander of air defence battery onboard Stoiky destroyer. He was appointed to command posts on Bezboyaznenny destroyer and Varyag Guard missile cruiser.
In 2009, he was appointed to the post of Commander of the Baltic naval base of the Baltic Fleet. On January 27, 2012 he took the post of Deputy Commander of the Black Sea Fleet.
On May 17, 2016 he headed Military training center of the Russian Navy “Military Naval Academy named after Admiral of the Soviet Union Nikolay Kuznetsov”.
He was decorated with “Order for military merits”, “Order for naval merits”, and other medals.
