Orthodox Christians of the Pacific Ocean Fleet commemorated the Epiphany.

Orthodox Christians of the Pacific Ocean Fleet commemorated the Epiphany diving in ice-holes in Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

 The Pacific Ocean Fleet naval hospital in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is a traditional place for everyone to get some consecrated water and dive in ice-holes.

Everything was ready: the ice-hole was equipped with a ladder; there also were several warm tents full of hot tea.

About four thousand people, including civilians, servicemen and their relatives, took part in this festive event.

In Vladivostok festive event took part in the afternoon in Rynda bay, near Russky Island. The diving ceremony started at 12 p.m. when everyone could dive in an ice-hole.
