Naval aviation of Black Sea Fleet prepares for flight tactical exercise
Naval aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet are preparing for flight tactical exercise.
The technical and flight crews of the Mi-8, Ka-27PS and Ka-27PL helicopters, as well as the An-26 and Be-12 aircraft, are undergoing pre-flight training and training flights with the implementation of individual elements of the upcoming exercise.
The fighter aircraft of the Southern Military District, based on the airfields of the Crimean Peninsula, will act as a mock enemy for the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet.
The training flights are attended by both experienced and young pilots who joined the aviation units of the Black Sea Fleet in 2018.
During the exercise, the crews of airplanes and helicopters will practise methods of disguise when flying at ultra-low altitudes with a rounding of the terrain, as well as non-standard approaches to accomplish the tasks assigned.
