Pacific Fleet detachment makes a call at Vietnam
Today, a Pacific Fleet detachment made up of the ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov, Admiral Tributs, and middle sea tanker Irkut has arrived with unofficial visit to the port of Cam Ranh, Vietnam.
The Russian warships were solemnly welcomed at the international seaport.
As part of the visit, the Russian seamen are going to meet with representatives of the 4th 4th Regional Command and Command of the Naval Fleet. They will also lay wreaths to the Cam Ranh Monument.
The Russian seamen are also going to tour round the city.
The Pacific Fleet detachment has left for cruise on April 1. Earlier the ships had made a call at the port of Manila (Philippines). The main purpose of the campaign was the demonstration of the Naval Ensign in the Pacific Rim and the further development of naval cooperation with the countries of the Pacific Rim. Besides, the detachment is to participated in the Joint Sea 2019 Russian-Chinese naval exercise.
