Commander-in-Chief of Russian Navy meets with Prime Minister of Republic of Tatarstan
Today in Kazan at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolay Evmenov, met with the Prime Minister of the Republic, Alexey Pesoshin.
Today, Admiral Nikolay Evmenov arrived on a working trip to Tatarstan, where he will visit the Zelenodolsk shipyard and take part in the ceremony of laying the newest small missile ship Typhoon.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy and the Prime Minister discussed issues of interaction between the Navy and Tatarstan in the field of military-patriotic education of the young generation, personnel training for the Russian Navy and enterprises of the shipbuilding industry.
“The Republic of Tatarstan and the Navy have long-standing strong relations. A number of ships and submarines are named after the cities of Tatarstan. There are constant working contacts between us regarding the sphere of military shipbuilding, military education and military-patriotic work. We will further develop all these areas,” said Admiral Nikolay Evmenov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, following the meeting.
