A parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war was held in Kaliningrad
A Victory parade was held in Kaliningrad, which was attended by about 1,500 soldiers of the Baltic fleet and security agencies, as well as modern military equipment that is in service with the fleet.
The Deputy Commander of the Baltic fleet, Vice Admiral Sergey Eliseev, commanded the military parade, and the Commander of the Baltic fleet, Admiral Alexander Nosatov, received the parade.
Marching at Victory square passed parade crews of staff officers of the Baltic fleet, sailors of the Baltic fleet, military units and formations of army corps and naval aviation of the Baltic fleet, the branch of the Military University, and also representatives of other security agencies of the region - the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kaliningrad region and regional Federal Penitentiary Service and also National guard of Russia.
At the head of the mechanized column on Victory square passed the legendary T-34 tank, followed by T-72B3 tanks, "Hyacinth" large-caliber guns, "Gvozdika" self-propelled artillery units, S-400 anti - aircraft missile systems, "Pantsir-S1" anti-aircraft gun systems, "Iskander" tactical missile systems, "Bal" and "Bastion" anti-ship coastal missile systems, multiple rocket systems "Grad" and "Smerch", armored reconnaissance and patrol vehicles, multi-axle heavy tractors and other armored vehicles. In addition, residents and guests of Kaliningrad saw remotely operated special transport platforms "Platform-M", unmanned aerial vehicles" Orlan-10", armored personnel carriers BTR-82A and Kamaz-4350 and 43501 trucks from the "Mustang" family.
In total, the mechanized column included 75 units of military equipment in service with formations and military units of the Baltic fleet.
After the ground parade, a linear flight of Baltic fleet aircraft took place over Kaliningrad.
