The team of the Northern Fleet, which took part in the Emergency Area international competition, returned to the points of permanent deployment

The Northern Fleet team, together with the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Defence Ministry team represented the Russian team at the international competition of emergency rescue units Emergency Area, returned to their permanent deployment points.

According to the results of the international competition, which was held at the Joint Training Centre in Sergiev Posad, Moscow Region, the team of the Russian Federation was recognized as the best emergency rescue unit, the core of which was made up of servicemen from the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence. The team of the Northern Fleet consistently showed the second result in all three stages of the competition in terms of time indicators.

At the closing ceremony of the Emergency Area international competition for emergency rescue teams, the combined team of the Northern Fleet was awarded a cup and a diploma for the results achieved, and all team members received valuable gifts.

A number of servicemen, following the results of their participation in the international competition, were nominated for awarding with departmental awards.

The competition involved teams from the 12th Main Directorate of the Defence Ministry, the Northern fleet, Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Kingdom of Cambodia, Republic of Mali, Republic of the Congo, Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of Belarus, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
