Units of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet are marching from the Republic of Abkhazia to the point of permanent deployment after successfully completing tasks on special processing of infrastructure facilities in order to prevent the spread of viral infections on the territory of the Republic.
At present, on its professional holiday - the Day of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops, a column of the Black Sea Fleet NRCB protection unit is marching more than 800 km to the base. The convoy includes 11 special vehicles, these are ARS-14M filling stations and TMS-65U heat machines.
In the course of disinfection work in the Republic of Abkhazia, military personnel treated more than 700 thousand square meters of various surfaces, social facilities and places of mass gathering of people. The Psou checkpoint and the Russian military base in the city of Gudauta became the extreme targets for treatment.
The event involved 30 servicemen with sets of degassing, decontamination and disinfection DKV-1K, as well as hot fog generators.
The combined detachment of the Black Sea Fleet NRCB protection unit was sent to carry out disinfection measures at the request of the Republic of Abkhazia.
