In Dagestan, at the Adanak, Scorpio and Turali training grounds, the marine units of the Caspian Flotilla have begun preparations for the qualifying stage of the competition of the International Army Games 2021.
In total, about 500 servicemen take part in the qualifying events of the competition, about 100 units of military equipment are involved.
During the training, the driver mechanics of the APC-82A armored personnel carriers practice driving along a special route with overcoming various obstacles: a track bridge, a ditch, anti-tank hedgehogs, a passage between the poles, driving afloat. The crews of combat vehicles pass the standards for assault training with the loading or unloading of armored personnel carriers on the landing vehicle. The gunner-operators of the BTR-82A perform live firing at various ranges from the spot and on the move at targets simulating air and surface targets.
Also, servicemen as part of the platoons fulfill the standards and exercises for fire and physical training, overcome the obstacle course, and also parachute from armored personnel carriers.
According to the results of the competition, two teams will be selected as part of platoons and crews of the APC-82A, which will represent the flotilla at the all-army stage of the competition for marine units.
