Safe Environment all-army competition commences in Russia
The Safe Environment all-army competition has started at the Pesochnoye training ground in Yaroslavl region.
Some 300 specialists of NBC Defence Troops from military district, arms and services, military units and bases of the Russian Armed Forces, and Risgvardiya, have arrived in Yaroslavl region to attend the Safe Environment 2018 all-army competition.
More over 800 pieces of special hardware and some 2,500 troops were involved in preliminaries.
The Chemical Biathlon stages include armored vehicles race, drifting on sand, and forcing a water obstacle, and a classic S-turn, and high-speed section, and fire-assault obstacle. This year a new stage is included in the contest - combat shooting from regular weapons and armament of the BTR-80 in personal protective equipment.
