Central Military District Special Forces master the Ironiya multifunctional observation complex
Among the components of the complex there is a range scope with a thermal camera that is able to distinguish a man from the distance up to 2,5 km, vehicles from up to 7 km and to transmit photo and video information to the command center through secure channels at the distance up to 10 km.
The Central Military District special unit personnel, located in Siberia, practice the use of the Ironiya small scale multifunctional optoelectronic observation complex, received as part of the Defense Procurement Order.
The Ironiya observation complex is designed to receive and process information. It is developed in two variations — for mounting on the Tiger or Hussar transporters and a portable variation. Their weights are 15 kg and 3.2 kg respectively.
The set includes a range scope with a thermal camera that identifies a person at a distance up to 2.5 km and technical equipment — up to 7 km. It also transmits photographic and videographic information to the command post through secure channels at the distance up to 10 km.
Above all, the complex can be used as a defence system to protect its position with the use of motion sensors that can detect the enemy from the distance up to 3 km.
The Ironiya multifunctional complex has significantly increased combat capabilities of the Central Military District Special Forces in performing different tasks.
