EMD sniper pairs destroyed the manpower of the mock enemy in Primorye at different distances

Snipers of motorized rifle formations of the combined-arms army of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories, worked out actions to destroy the manpower of the mock enemy during field training. Training is held within the framework of the Games-2021 "Sniper Frontier" competition.

The personnel work out the interaction of the sniper pair to hit targets located at different distances, while the arrow corrects the position of the group. Military personnel use different types of sniper rifles: SVD (Dragunov sniper rifle), SV-98, ASV (army sniper rifle large-caliber), this weapon is used with regular day and night sights.

In addition, snipers train in a number of exercises, such as; "Catch up" - the sniper temporarily hits the targets; "Interaction" - in a sniper pair, one shooter will fire from a pistol, and the other from an SVD; "Shooting from a partner" - shooting using the second number of the sniper pair as a support for the rifle; and "Hunting" - the sniper hits only his color targets.

The key objectives of the Games competition are high-quality training of sniper units, increasing the prestige of military service, determining the best sniper, sniper pair and team.
