Western Military District Command inspects combat readiness of Baltic Fleet
Command of the Western Military District inspects combat readiness of the Baltic Fleet. Military command and control units, and a number of military units, ships and vessels of the Baltic Fleet, and an air base of naval aviation participate in the inspection.
Over 2,000 troops and 100 pieces of wheeled and tracked vehicles, as well as ships and naval aviation of the Baltic Fleet are involved in the inspection.
The goals of the inspection is to assess readiness of standby forces of the Baltic Fleet.
