Biography
Born on February 4, 1959 in Kormovoye village, Serebryano-Prudskyi district, Moscow region.
Graduated from Chelyabinsk Higher Tank Command School (1980), the Russian Federal Counterintelligence Service Academy (1994) and the Russian Civil Service Academy under the President of the Russian Federation (2001).
Since 2000 he has served in the Main Personnel Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
From April 2009 to July 2022, he was Head of the Main Personnel Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
In July 2022 by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation he was appointed Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation - Head of the Main Military and Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
He has been awarded the Orders for "Merit to the Motherland", 3rd and 4th degrees, Alexander Nevsky, Courage, and Friendship. Awarded the honorary title "Honoured Military Specialist of the Russian Federation".
