Tatiana Shevtsova

Biography

Born in 1969 in the city of Kozel’sk (the Kaluga Region) in the family of a serviceman.

In 1991 she graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics named after N.A. Voznesensky.

She has been in civil service since 1991. Has risen through the ranks from the state tax inspector to the Deputy Head of the RF Federal Tax Service.

In May 2010 was appointed as the Advisor of the RF Defence Minister.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 4 August 2010 she has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation.

Class 1 Active State Advisor of the Russian Federation (since 5 April 2011).

Awarded the Order of Honour, Order for Merits to the Fatherland of the 4th class.

Honoured Economist of the Russian Federation.
