Russia is to continue military cooperation with Sudan
Russia appreciates the level of military cooperation reached with Sudan and intends to continue interacting on all issues. This has been announced by the Minister of Defence of Russia General of the Army Sergey Shoigu at the meeting with the Chief of the Sudanese military institution Yasin Ibrahim.
'Today we are able to discuss actual issues related to the Russian-Sudanese military cooperation. We appreciate the level of cooperation we have reached. We intend to continue interacting on all issues', said Sergey Shoigu.
The Minister of Defence of Russia has thanked his counterpart for taking part in the IX Moscow Conference on International Security.
For his part, Yasin Ibrahim emphasised that the military delegation of Sudan had visited Kubinka, saw the 'Memory Road' memorial and 'made 1418 steps to the Victory'.
'Everything was wonderful. In addition, we've been to the exhibition. Everything was organised at a high level. Thank you for the high organisation of this event', said the Chief of the military institution of the Republic of Sudan.
