“Race of Heroes” to take place in the Pacific Fleet main base port

More than 100 Pacific Fleet sport instructors are ready to assist participants of the “Race of Heroes” sport event. The main events will take place on July 11-12 at the Gornostai training ground, which is located in Vladivostok region. About 5,000 people are planning to participate in the event.

Participants of the “Race of Heroes” will pass a 6-kilometer distance equipped with obstacle line developed for the Fleet special units training.

Entertainment programme will include demonstration of the Marine units, armament and military hardware exposition and contest programme.

The event is organized by the Russian Defence Ministry, Pacific Fleet Command with support of the Primorsky Krai Administration.
