In the course of the last two days, aircraft of the Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic have performed 81 combat sorties engaging 263 objects
In the course of the last two days, aircraft of the Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic have performed 81 combat sorties engaging 263 objects located in the Aleppo, Damascus, Deir ez-Zor, Idlib, Lattakia, Raqqah, Hama and Homs provinces.
Near Maarrat al-Nu'man (Idlib province), according to the data received from the joint information center in Baghdad, a batch of antitank missile systems were delivered to one of the ammunition depots several days ago. The antitank systems were delivered for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in order to destroy armored vehicles of the Syrian governmental forces. After the data had been checked through several channels, a pair of Su-25 attack aircraft performed a strike, which resulted in destruction of the depot with all its contents.
Near Al-Nayrab airfield (Aleppo province), a Su-24M bomber destroyed workshops, which repaired the ISIS armored vehicles, located in a number of buildings.
These workshops were used to repair combat vehicles and tanks as well as off-roaders and trucks equipped with heavy armament for further transportation to the contact line of militants and the Syrian Armed Forces. The air bombs dropped from the Su-24M hit the targets and destroyed the workshops with 7 pieces of terrorists’ hardware.
Near Raqqah, Su-34 bombers carried out strikes against two fortified strong points of militants located at the approaches to the city. Direct hits of air bombs destroyed fortified installations of terrorists as well as four automobile and armored vehicles.
In ravine of Jebel Mgar mountain near Damascus, a base of an ISIS illegal armed group was attacked. Militants arranged ammunition depots, a command centre and hardware shelters for military hardware in caverns on the mountain slope. A strike of the Russian aviation caused destruction of terrorists’ infrastructure, four off-road vehicles equipped with large-caliber machine guns and two trucks.
Near Al-Muhasan (Deir ez-Zor province), a Su-34 bomber performed strike against terrorist training camp of the Jabhat al-Nusra. Terrorist training infrastructure, installations and constructions used by terrorists for keeping explosive devices were completely destroyed by direct hits of guided air bombs.
Near Tadmor (Homs province), a Su-24M eliminated a large fortified area of ISIS militants as well as a tank, an AA system ZU-23 and a mortar battery on their combat positions.
Attention should be attached to the fact, that the Russian aviation makes strikes only on the terrorist infrastructural objects, which are located at a significant distance from historical monuments. Tadmor town is the most inhabited area in the district of the desert that is why it is mentioned for indication of the region, where the Russian aviation is used against terrorist objects. The destroyed ISIS fortified area is situated more than 30 km from the ancient Palmyra.

The Russian Defence Ministry comments on the statement of the Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland during her speech at the Congress session, where she claimed that supposedly, a large part of the Russian strikes in the Syrian Arab Republic had been aimed not against terrorists, but literally “targeted in areas where the Assad regime has lost territory”.
It is to be emphasized that the Russian air group in Syria makes strikes not on regions, but on objects of terrorists’ infrastructure.
After analysis of such statements of different American officials, it seems that the locations of these objects, which are under the control of the terrorists, are the most guarded state secret information in the USA. Representatives from the Pentagon and the State department constantly speak about it, but no one of them gives specific information concerning their location.
At the same time, it should be reminded that the Russian Ministry of Defence transferred to the military attaches of the anti-ISIS coalition led by the USA the comprehensive information on high-detail maps concerning the objects and areas controlled by terrorists in Syria.
It should be noted that the information presented by the Ministry of Defence has not been refuted neither by the State Department nor by the Pentagon.
That speaks for itself.
