S-300 crews of the Eastern MD held training on eliminating simulated aerial targets
S-300 crews of the Eastern MD air defence missile regiment located in the Khabarovsk Krai held training on eliminating simulated aerial targets. In the course of the training, servicemen practiced receiving signal on airspace violence by simulated enemy aircraft, detected and eliminated it.
The leadership assessed cooperation of the units and duty forces. The crews also met qualification standards in combat and special training, position changing and avoiding strike in response performed by the simulated enemy.
S-300 air defence missile complex is capable to engage ballistic and aerodynamic targets. It was designed in order to provide security of large industrial and administrative facilities, military bases and command posts.
