General information on the application of measures for the reconciliation of opposing sides
In the course of last 24 hours, preliminary ceasefire agreements have been signed with elders of 5 towns in the Hama province. Working session has been held with participants of initiative groups of three towns in the al-Quneitra province.
Total number of towns, which had joined the ceasefire agreements, remained 44 ones.
Negotiations with leaders of 6 armed formations active in the provinces of Damascus and al-Quneitra are continued. Truce terms and signing of ceasefire application forms have been discussed.
Ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings remained 42 ones.
Results of ceasefire monitoring
In the course of last 24 hours, 14 ceasefire violations have been registered (Latakia – 5, Daraa – 5, Aleppo – 2, Damascus and Hama – by 1 in each).
Militants placing themselves in Ahrar al-Sham opposition grouping carried out mortar attacks against Qlaba, Kinsiba and Jabal Alakaya (Latakia province).
In the Damascus province, unidentified armed formations performed artillery attack on Dahaya al-Assad, Nurs and Dur al-Balad.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
In the course of last 24 hours, the Russian Centre for reconciliation has received appeals from administration and elders of 4 towns and villages of the Homs and Hama provinces for humanitarian aid.
Additional information
Leadership of the Russian Centre for reconciliation (Hmeymim airbase) and the American Coordination Centre (Amman) held teleconferences.
In the course of the teleconferences, the Russian party expressed dismay at ceasefire violations near Kafr Nabudah (Hama province) carried out by opposition detachments, which had been put by the American party into list of detachments joined the ceasefire regime and located in assigned areas.
The session participants discussed ceasefire violations and set further directions of ceasefire monitoring.
In the Latakia province, meeting in support of the national reconciliation has been held under the initiative of the governor. More than 400 representatives of local authorities, public and political movements, and citizens took part in the meeting.
