Reconciliation of the opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, truce agreements with representatives of 2 inhabited areas in the Damascus and Homs provinces have been achieved.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 136.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has remained 60.
Results of ceasefire monitoring
The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 5 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus province.
Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar and MLRS shelling of positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in Ain Terma, Jaur al-Basha, Mazraat Mahmud inhabited areas and twice – against the Harasta village.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Humanitarian convoys for inhabitants of the Damascus and Homs provinces are being formed.
Violations of the “silence regime” prolonged till 24:00 of June 7, 2016 have not been registered in Darayya inhabited area (Damascus province).
Within last 24 hours, groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization have performed shelling against Ain al-Qantara, Rasha and Haddada inhabited areas (Lattakia province), Fuah (Idlib province) and Skalbia (Hama province).
In the Aleppo province, terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra have performed strikes with MLRS and mortars against Karasy and al-Hamra inhabited areas, Sheikh Maqsood, Hamdaniya, Meidan, al-Halidyah, al-Amriyah quarters and Al-Nayrab airport in the Aleppo city.
Warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed 4 facilities of illegal oil production located in the Raqqah and Homs provinces and controlled by the ISIS terrorists.
