Reconciliation of the opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, no truce agreement with representatives of inhabited areas of the Syrian Arab Republic has been achieved.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 177.
Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of armed opposition detachments active in the Damascus, Hama and al-Quneitra provinces.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has remained 61.
The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 4 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus province.
Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling of positions of the Syrian Armed Forces near Jaur-al-Basha, Arbil, Duma and Harasta.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Low-income families of Beit-Shakuhi (Latakia province) and Jamilia district (Aleppo city) have received 3 tons of humanitarian cargos with flour, rice, canned meat and fish.
Aircraft of the Abakan Air, Russian aviation company, has dropped 18 tons of UN humanitarian cargos (food products and grains) on Deir ez-Zor, which had been besieged by ISIS terrorists.
In connection wih the celebration of the muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, the High Command of the Syrian Armed Forces has declared “the silence regime” on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic from 00:01 July 6th, 2016 for 72 hours.
Groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization do not stop making attempts to break the ceasefire regime.
Within last 24 hours, in the Aleppo province, terrorists have shelled Al-Hader, Kudehi and Handrat inhabited areas as well as Sheikh Maqsood, al-Khalidiyah, Hallab-al-Jadid, Az-Zagra quarters and Maddafi hills in the Aleppo city with MLRS and mortars.
Terrorists have also shelled following inhabited areas: Harasta al-Qantara, Huteita al-Jarash and Bahariyah (Damascus province), Fuah (Idlib province), as well as Brhuma inhabited area in the Latakia province.
