Chief of the Main directorate of international military cooperation of the Russian Defence Ministry held negotiations with the Chief of the Department of Politics of the Federal Ministry of Defence of Germany Geza Andreas von Geyr
On March 23, Chief of the Main directorate of international military cooperation of the Russian Defence Ministry Sergei Koshelev has held negotiations with the Chief of the Department of Politics of the Federal Ministry of Defence of Germany in Moscow.
The parties discussed topical issues of international security, in particular, the situation in Eastern Europe and in the Middle East, relations of NATO and Russia, as well as talked about resumption of cooperation between both military departments.
Chief of the Main directorate for the international military cooperation paid attention to the concerns connected with the activities of the NATO near the Russian borders as well as the deployment of Anti-missile Defence in Romania and Poland.
The parties confirmed the necessity of maintaining the dialogue for reduction of tension and stabilization of the situation in Eastern Europe.
