International Army Games 2018 kick off in Kazakhstan
An opening ceremony takes place today in Kazakhstan.
Defence Minister of Kazakhstan Colonel General Saken Zhasuzakov welcomed participating teams at the ceremony. He stressed that at such competitions participants acquire priceless professional expertise. Moreover, the Games strengthen and develop international cooperation in military sphere.
There are three contests to be held at the Gvardeysky training ground: Masters of Artillery Fire, Falcon Hunting and Confident Reception contest among signal units.
Twelve countries have sent their teams to participate in the competition: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
