Patriotic Centre in Moscow region will open on September 1 next year
The educational center of Avangard military-patriotic centre will begin work on September 1 of next year. It was announced by Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu.
After laying the first stone, the Minister of Defence, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov demonstrated the center’s layout.
“I am sure that on September 1 next year we will celebrate the opening of this wonderful centre here,” said Sergei Shoigu.
The centre will have everything necessary for basic military training, including a training base, paintball centre, shooting centre, museums and the most modern military equipment.
He also emphasized that the centre of spiritual education is nearby - the Main Cathedral Of Russian Armed Forces, which will be opened on May 9, 2020.
A large-scale unique camp is designed for simultaneous accommodation and training of 600 people.
