Russian and Serbian military departments interaction reaches new level
Russia will try to maintain the pace of cooperation with Serbia in the military sphere, which has reached a fundamentally new level, said Russian Defence Minister of the General of the Army Sergei Shoigu at a meeting with Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin in Belgrade.
“The interaction between the defence departments of Russia and Serbia has reached a fundamentally new level. We will make every effort to maintain the momentum of the development of relations in the military sphere,” said Sergei Shoigu.
He thanked Aleksandar Vulin for his contribution to the development of military cooperation between the two countries.
“We cannot fail to note the serious work done by the leadership of the republic and you personally in recent years to improve the security system and increase the country's defence capability,” the Head of the Russian military department said.
Russian Defence Minister also noted that a strong army is the guarantor of state sovereignty. Serbia citizens can be proud of their Armed Forces.
