A combined unit of the Russian Defence Ministry during a week's stay in the Republic of Serbia disinfected 25 medical facilities in the capital and nearby localities
A combined unit of the Russian Defence Ministry has disinfected 25 medical facilities in the capital and nearby localities during a week's stay in the Republic of Serbia. More than 50 buildings and structures with a total area of more than 380 thousand square meters and more than 20 sections of paved roads with a total area of about 65 thousand square meters were processed.
On the eve the sanitary treatment of thirteen city and district clinics of the Serbian capital, where the diagnosis of patients with suspected coronavirus infection is carried out.
Since then, Russian medical and nursing teams have assessed the sanitary and epidemiological situation and provided methodological assistance to Serbian doctors in more than 50 medical institutions in 15 Serbian cities and localities.
Due to the difficult situation in cities in the South of Serbia, two medical teams and one group of specialists of NBC protection with special equipment were relocated to the city of Nis. The detachment made a 250-kilometer march and started conducting technical inspections and preparing equipment, medical equipment, protective equipment, as well as studying the area of upcoming work. Military personnel are tasked with carrying out anti-epidemic measures in medical institutions in the city and nearby localities.
