Russian medical officers and NBCP troops in real-time monitoring the situation with coronavirus infection in Serbia
From the first day of operation of the Russian combined unit in Serbia, an operational headquarters has been organized, where all information about the group's activities is collected. Here, Russian medical officers and NBCP troops monitor the situation with coronavirus infection in Serbia in real time. Interacting directly with the Serbian crisis staff, the ministries of defense and health, officers promptly respond to all changes in the environment, identify the objects and build the schedule of work of experts of NBC protection for the processing of medical institutions in cities where there is the most difficult situation. Also here, decisions are made on the deployment of medical and nursing teams to help Serbian doctors. The headquarters of the combined unit not only accumulates all information about the results of special processing, but also organizes and coordinates the work of all military personnel on the territory of Serbia.
The combined Russian-Serbian NBC protection crews continued joint disinfection activities. During the day they processed 30 sites in the cities of Belgrade, Novi-Sad and Novi- Knjazevac, Aleksinac, Zitkovac and Culina.
Four medical and nursing teams participated in the examination and treatment of 22 patients infected with Covid-19 in hospitals in the cities of Belgrade, Chuprija, Leskovac and Nis. Russian military doctors conducted an assessment and analysis of the epidemiological situation, gave recommendations on the implementation of anti-epidemic measures in medical institutions in the cities of Belgrade, Krushevac, Bor and Kragujevac.
In total, the Russian combined unit operating in the Republic of Serbia carried out a set of disinfection measures at 110 sites in 23 cities of the Republic of Serbia (Belgrade, Nis, Valevo, Backa-Topola, Krusevac, Chuprija, Palic, Novi-Sad, Pancevo, Blace, Pozarevac, Smederevo, Novi-Pazar, Prokuplje, Leskovac, Vrane, Vlasotince, Zajecar, Knyazevac, Novi-Knezevac, Aleksenac, Zhitkovac, Kulina), including processed: about 240 buildings and structures with a total area of more than 1.1 million square meters, paved road sections-59, with a total area of about 410 thousand square meters. Military medics examined and participated in the treatment of half a thousand patients infected with COVID-19.
