Closing ceremony of the Guardian of Order competition of the International Army Games 2020 was held at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre
Today, within the framework of the International Army Games-2020, the closing ceremony of the Guardian of Order competition was held on the territory of the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre.
Teams from Armenia, Iran and Russia fought for the title of the best military police servicemen this year.
In a difficult struggle, the first place in the competition was taken by the military police team of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The team of the Islamic Republic of Iran won the silver medals, and the Armenian military police team won the bronze medals.
At the closing ceremony of the competition, the Head of the Main Directorate of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Sergei Kuralenko, noted the high training and skill, strength and endurance of the participants in the competition, as well as their serious preparation for the competition.
“All the teams that took part in the competition confirmed their high professionalism, showed the will to win and mutual assistance. The holding of the Guardian of Order international army competition has become an important contribution to strengthening the military cooperation between the countries participating in the International Army Games," Colonel-General Sergei Kuralenko noted.
“I consider it necessary to expand the number of participants in the Guardian of Order competition next year. We'll invite to the competition not only those countries whose armed forces have a police force, but all those who wish, whose armies have structures that ensure law, order and discipline in the troops,” added Colonel General Sergei Kuralenko.
The winners in individual and team competitions were awarded commemorative diplomas and valuable gifts, and the artists of the Central House of the Russian army pleased the participants and guests of the ceremony with a festive concert.

Competitions of the international stage of the Guardian of Order contest were held from 24 to 31 August in four stages. At the first stage, the military police competed in the skill of shooting with standard weapons, during the second - overcame an obstacle course consisting of seven elements, and at the third - met the standards for fire (equipping the magazine with cartridges, assembling a machine gun and throwing a grenade for accuracy) and medical training (applying a hemostatic tourniquet), as well as for NBC protection.
The final competitions were held in the form of a team race on a 10-kilometer obstacle course "Race of Heroes", which includes 46 elements.
