Six Russian Tu-22 long-range bombers carried out bombing at the Ruzhansky range in Belarus
Today, in accordance with the plan of the joint Belarusian-Russian exercise "Slavic brotherhood-2020", six Tu-22 long-range supersonic bombers from the Shaikovka airfield (Tver region, Russian Federation) flew over the territory of the Republic of Belarus and carried out bombing of the objects of a mock enemy at the Ruzhansky training ground near the locality of Baranovichi.
All training targetss are hit.
After completing the combat training mission, the Russian aircraft returned to their home airfields in the Russian Federation.
On the eve of the active phase of the joint Belarusian-Russian exercise "Slavic brotherhood-2020", two Russian Tu-160 supersonic strategic bombers from the Engels airfield made a special flight along the south-western, western and north-western borders of the Republic of Belarus.
During the flight, the Russian pilots worked out issues of operational interaction with the fighter aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force to cover the actions of the joint tactical group on the ground.
In total, more than 900 people and 100 units of military equipment will take part in the exercise from the Russian side during the active phase of the Belarusian - Russian exercise "Slavic brotherhood-2020".
