The "Uran-14" robotic fire system was used to extinguish damaged equipment during the maneuvers "Kavkaz-2020"
The latest multi-functional robotic fire extinguishing system "Uran-14" was used to extinguish damaged military equipment on the battlefield during the draw of the main stage of the maneuvers "Kavkaz-2020" at the Kapustin Yar training ground.
The complex is designed for remote fire extinguishing of dangerous and hard-to-reach objects for personnel.
The maximum speed of the robotic system is up to 10 kilometers per hour, the maximum extinguishing range is 50 meters, and the remote control range is at least 1000 meters.
The complex is equipped with water tanks with a capacity of two thousand liters and a foaming agent with a capacity of 600 liters.
The maneuvers "Kavkaz-2020" is being supervised by the Chief of the General Staff – First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation from September 21 to 26, 2020 at the internal ranges of the Southern Military District, as well as in the waters of the Black and Caspian seas.
