Medical specialists of the Ministry of Defence continue to provide assistance to the population of Crimea in the fight against coronavirus infection
Military doctors of the special purpose medical units of the Black Sea Fleet and the Southern Military District continue to provide assistance to the population of Crimea in the fight against a new coronavirus infection in the cities of Yalta and Simferopol.
Every day, more than 40 residents turn to military doctors for help. All citizens who have applied receive consultations, appointments, and, if necessary, continue treatment in a hospital. All patients are under constant supervision of highly qualified medical personnel and receive full treatment.
To date, more than 500 residents of Crimea have received consultative and diagnostic assistance provided to them by military doctors.
Earlier, the personnel of the special medical units of the Southern Military District and the Black Sea Fleet were transferred from Rostov-on-Don and Sevastopol in the shortest possible time to help the population of the republic in the fight against coronavirus infection.
In accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu deployed two mobile hospital of the Russian Ministry of Defence to provide medical assistance to residents of the Crimea Peninsula.
Earlier, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, requested the deployment of 200-bed hospitals in Yalta and Simferopol.
