Pilots of the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet on the Su-30SM and Su-24M performed flights in difficult weather conditions
Three flight shifts on multi-purpose Su-30SM fighters and Su-24M front-line bombers from the naval aviation and air defense of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) worked out flights in difficult weather conditions at one of the airfields in the Crimea.
During scheduled training flights, each crew completed 10 takeoffs and landings in low cloud conditions and strong crosswinds.
Also, the pilots of Su-30SM fighters worked out elements of complex aerobatics with a divergence from the link.
The flight shifts involved both experienced and young pilots, performed a single flight, then in pairs and links.
Training flights were conducted in accordance with the plan of combat training of the aircrews of naval aviation and air defence of the Black Sea Fleet.
In total, 6 Su-30SM multi-purpose fighters and 3 Su-24M front-line bombers were involved in the training.
