Two international competitions Military Rally and Equestrian Marathon start in Kyzyl as part of International Army Games 2021
The opening of the international stages of the Military Rally and Equestrian Marathon contests, held within the framework of the International Army Games 2021, took place at the Kara-Khaak training ground in the Republic of Tuva.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, the armed forces of foreign states, the command of the Central Military District, representatives of the regional administration, team members from China, Israel, Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.
As part of the event, a ceremony was held to introduce the participants and the start of vehicles along the route section.
For spectators of the competition, an exhibition of modern weapons and military equipment was organized at a special site.
During five days of competition, the crews of KamAZ and Ural vehicles with 4x4 and 6x6 wheel configurations, as well as armored vehicles Tiger-M, will take part in four stages of the competition: Individual race, Pursuit Race, Shooting Stage and Team Race.
International Army Games will be held from August 22 to September 4 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).
In total, more than 5 thousand military personnel, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of the Games 2021.
