The latest medical armored vehicles Linza will be used for the first time at the joint military anti-terrorist command and staff exercise of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Peace Mission-2021.
The first batch of 10 vehicles entered service with the peacekeeping brigade of the guards combined arms army of the Central Military District in May 2021. Ambulances will be used during the drawing of a tactical episode for the search and removal of conditionally wounded servicemen from the battlefield.
The medical armored vehicle Linza is designed to search, collect and remove the wounded from the battlefield and the centers of mass sanitary losses. An armored car with a 4x4 wheel formula from the Typhoon families is used as the base vehicle. Its reservation protects the crew and the transported wounded from armor-piercing bullets from a 7.62 by 54 rifle cartridge, as well as shrapnel. The armored car is also able to protect passengers from an explosion of up to eight kilograms of TNT under the bottom. The maximum speed of the car reaches 105 km/h.
