In Nagorno-Karabakh with Russian peacekeepers conducted a comprehensive training session at all observation posts
In Nagorno-Karabakh, as part of a planned combat training session, a comprehensive training was held with Russian peacekeepers at 27 observation posts. During the training, the servicemen worked out actions to prevent possible violations, provocative actions and repel an attack on an observation post.
With the receipt of the warning signal, the peacekeepers worked out well-coordinated actions to equip and obtain weapons, quickly leave the location and take up defences in equipped positions. To strengthen the defense of the post, duty units on BTR-82A armored personnel carriers were involved.
Mortar crews of the Russian peacekeeping contingent also took part in the training. The artillerymen practiced actions for taking up firing positions, aiming guns at specified targets by coordinates, as well as tactical standards for reconnaissance of targets and changing firing positions.
All observation posts of the Russian peacekeeping contingent are equipped with Blockpost fortifications designed to protect military personnel from small arms and shrapnel, as well as to conduct circular surveillance of the nearby territory.
