The aviation regiment of the Central Military District transferred about 18 tons of liquefied oxygen to hospitals in the Kirov region and Perm
In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the instructions of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, the fighter aviation regiment of the Central Military District (CMD), based in the Perm region, transferred about 18 tons of liquefied oxygen to medical institutions in Perm and the Kirov region for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection.
Provision of oxygen to medical organizations of civil healthcare is carried out without prejudice to the combat readiness of the aviation units of the Central Military District.
The Central Military District is stationed on the territory of 29 subjects of Russia in the Volga, Ural and Siberian federal districts. The district structurally includes several foreign facilities: Russian military bases in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as units on the territory of Kazakhstan. The headquarters is located in Yekaterinburg.
