Units of the engineering troops of the Central Military District (CMD) for the first time received the robotic mine clearance complex Uran-6.

This year, engineering and sapper units of formations and military units of the engineering troops of the Central Military District, stationed in Bashkiria, Udmurtia and the Tyumen region, for the first time received four units of the modern robotic mine clearance complex Uran-6.

The Uran-6 complex is designed for mine clearance of terrain in urban and mountainous areas. It can also be used to make passages in minefields and is capable of detecting and neutralizing explosive objects with a capacity of no more than 4 kg of TNT equivalent.
