Meeting of ADMM Plus expert working group on counter-terrorism took place in Moscow region

The 13th meeting of Expert Working Group of ASEAN Defence Ministers and Dialogue Partners Meeting on Counter-Terrorism took place in Kubinka, near Moscow.

In addition to the Russian Defence Ministry, the event was attended by military officials from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Russian delegation outlined approaches to countering international terrorism and shared the experience of the Russian Armed Forces in counter-terrorist activities, including in Syria.

Also at the meeting, the sides exchanged views on counter-terrorism issues and agreed on scenarios for a command post exercise and a counter-terrorism exercise planned for 2023.
