Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu arrives in Democratic People's Republic of Korea

The Russian military delegation headed by the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu has arrived in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

An official welcoming ceremony for the Russian delegation took place at Pyongyang Sunan International Airport with the participation of a company of the Honour Guard of the Korean People's Army. The Minister of Defence of the DPRK General of the Army Kang Sun-nam greeted the head of the Russian Ministry of Defence at the airstair.

The delegation of the Russian Ministry of Defence is going to take part in solemn events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Day of Victory in the Great Fatherland Liberation War of 1950-1953.
