Dnepr Group's EOD specialists detect and destroy dozens of enemy mines on a daily basis in Zaporozhye region
In Orekhov direction, in Zaporozhye region, EOD specialists from the Dnepr Group of Forces daily detect and destroy unexploded ordnance of the enemy, thus saving the lives of their comrades and civilians.
Russian EOD specialists clear small forest belts of unexploded ordnance (UXO), often working under enemy fire. Step by step, with the help of a metal detector and a probe that scans the surface of the ground in front of them, the Russian engineers move along the plantation.
The metal detector is activated almost constantly, as the entire ground is littered with shrapnel, and the sapper determines that the object is in the grass and tests it with a probe.
All the projectiles found are destroyed by a counter charge, as it is not safe to remove the ammunition from the ground and carry it.
In a single day, an EOD specialist can defuse up to several dozen UXOs.
