Russian peacekeepers ensure safe grape harvest for children of boarding school in Nagorno-Karabakh

The collection of grapes on the plantations along the demarcation line began in the village of Khramort in the Askeran region of Nagorny.

The pickers voluntarily expressed a desire to pass their first harvest to children at the boarding school in Stepanakert.

In the spring of this year, Russian sappers cleaned the area from explosives, ensuring safe vineyard maintenance, as well as picking berries on time.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.

To monitor the ceasefire and military operations, a peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is being deployed in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
