Statement by Russian Defence Ministry

On 11 January 2025, in an attempt to disrupt gas supplies to European countries, the Kiev's regime launched an attack by nine fixed-wing UAVs at the Russkaya Compressor Station near Gay-Kodzor (Krasnodar region), which ensures gas supply over the TurkStream pipeline.

While repelling the attack, air defence units shot down all UAVs.

There are no casualties among the personnel and no damage to the Compressor Station. As a result of the drop of UAV fragments, a building and equipment of the gas-measuring station at the territory of the Russkaya Compressor Station sustained minor damage.

PJSC Gazprom's emergency response teams promptly eliminated the consequences of falling fragments and restored the equipment.

The Compressor Station supplies gas through the TurkStream pipeline as usual. Any major malfunctions were prevented.
