The crews of the S-300 air defence system with electronic launches destroyed high-altitude targets in the Transbaikal territory
As part of the control check, a practical training was held with military personnel of the air defence troops of the Eastern Military District (EMD) to detect and destroy high-altitude targets of a mock enemy in the Transbaikal territory.
During the practical part, the S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMS) crews worked out actions for training alarm signals, bringing and receiving a signal about the detection of conditional violators in the airspace, as well as for operational relocation to a given area.
The anti-aircraft gunners fulfilled the standards for the deployment of the S-300 air defence system, search, detection, classification, and tracking of air targets.
The situation of intercepting cruise missiles with low radar visibility, released by the aircraft of a mock enemy, was simulated for the crews.
The servicemen carried out successful training (electronic) launches, destroying all high-altitude targets, including aircraft that tried to launch a missile attack on important infrastructure facilities in the Transbaikal territory.
Such training is aimed at improving the professional skills of the crews in the actions in the conditions of modern combat, including the use of high-tech weapons by the mock enemy.
