Before the final competition, the Russian team is leading in almost all nominations of Aviadarts competition


At Aviadarts competition on the eve of the final and most spectacular stage (the combat use of aircraft weapons against ground targets), the intermediate results of the competition were summed up.  The Russian team takes first and second places in almost all seven nominations.

The best intermediate result among foreign teams is demonstrated by a pair of Mi-24 combat helicopters of the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus, taking second place in their nomination.

The crews of the J-10, J-16 aircraft of the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army of China, as well as the pilots of the attack aircraft on the Su-25 and army aviation on the Mi-8 helicopters of the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus are currently taking third places in their nominations.

The final stage of the competition starts on September 30 at the Dubrovichi training ground near Ryazan.  The crews of long-range and bomber aviation will conduct bombing, fighter, assault, bomber and army aviation pilots will launch missiles and fire from aircraft cannons, and the flight personnel of the military transport aviation will demonstrate the landing of cargo weighing about 5 tons for landing accuracy.

Earlier, during the competition, the following flight stages were held: piloting techniques, air navigation, visual reconnaissance, as well as search and rescue operations for Mi-8 transport and combat helicopters.

Aviadarts flight crew training competition is being held in the Ryazan region.  The competition involves the Dyagilevo airfield and the Dubrovichi training ground.  The competition is attended by teams from the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation - about 60 crews in total.  There are seven categories to determine the best pilots of fighter jets, bombers, assualt, long-range, military transport aircraft, and army aviation.
